Halloween 2025 Costume Ideas

Halloween is around the corner. It is the best time to go all out with no limits on your fits!

Before we dive into fashion week content, we need to lock in what our costumes are. We are only 2 months away and Spirit Halloween has already taken over.

These are my top 3 pics for potenial Halloweekend looks.

Sam Manson

One of the most iconic goth cartoon characters. She is from one of my fave cartoons, Danny Phantom. For years she was my profile pic on Twitter. I became obsessed with her again when I was a teenager. I had a little fuckass bob and loved purple lipstick. There are a lot of elements of purple, green and black. Can be very synonymous with goth or emo culture.

I created this moodboard to figure out how to DIY the fit.

Also evidence of my love featuring fetus Pringles.

Cleo De Nile

Cleo De Nile, you're so beguiled.

An iconic misunderstood character from Monster High. She is a diva with a capital D. Monster High has been in life for as long as I can remember. I never got one of the dolls. I went as Frankie when I was 10 and 20. I went as Clawdeen when I was 11. I really leaned into Draculaura and Frankie Stein growing up. I appreciated Cleo more as an adult. I can empathize with her character now. Lots of elements of gold and blue in her fits.

Starfire

Starfire became very popular during the 2003 Teen Titans cartoon series. She has been around since the like 80s. She was portrayed in the live action adaptation by Anna Diop. She was also in the DCAMU animated series. A lot of purple, red and green elements with a touch of silver.

All are cartoon characters. Cartoons are very important to my development. I watched a lot of TV and consume a lot of media. Despite the fact it is animation, the shows I watched growing up had a theme of justice and always doing the right thing.

I wrote my common app essay about rewatching Totally Spies. I realized that I inherently had feminist values as I watched the show when I was a youngin.

Again these are totally subject to change! I was thinking about also dressing up as Nightwing too. My first love!!! I've been seeing a lot of edits to his character.
