My Instagram account got suspended

A couple days ago, I talked shit about Instagram's lack of identity.

On, August 19th, my personal account @pialimbachiya got suspended.

I have had that personal account since I was 13 in the 7th Grade. I am currently 23 one year post grad of college. There was a lot of memories on that account. I remember using highlights for the first time in High School. It was so fun to go down the archive to see the time pass.

I did appeal and send an email to Instagram support.

I also got META VERIFIED. Just to talk to a real person.

It is so hard to talk to a real person on Instagram support.

I almost got scammed by a random number off Google.

I made a claim through the app immediately. I also emailed support.

Apparently I am not the only one. Back in June, a bunch of users reported their accounts as suspended for no reason. Meta started using AI moderators and they flagged thousands of accounts.

I was able to get my account back on August 21st.
