Imma be so honest. I was so lethargic on Met Monday night that I passed out at like 9 pm. I woke up at like 4 am the next day.

The dress code for this year's Met Gala was Black dandyism, Tailored for you. Monica

Miller's book Slaves to Fashion: Black Dandyism and the Styling of Black Diasporic Identity helped shaped the theme. Tailoring was a specific requirement on the theme. I recommend watching this ModernGirlz video for a more eloquent explanation.
